Chapter 31. Pete and Blaire

Pete got a notification on his phone. He took out the phone from his pocket and saw a message from an unknown number. He opened up the message and read.

‘Hi Pete! It’s Blaire. Hope you’re doing well. Are you free tomorrow? Can we meet? There’s something I’ve been trying to tell you but I can’t say it on the phone like this.’

Pete read all the messages sent by Blaire. At first, he was confused that how did Blaire got his number but then remembered Mariah must have given her the number in case of emergency or loss of contact and he guessed it right. Mariah gave Blaire his number the day they went to see Blaire in the coffee shop.

Mariah knew that Pete could be trusted and so at that time she thought it was best for her to give his number in case anything happens.
