Chapter 21. Plans
I pulled my door open and fell flat on my face.
“Ow!” I whined and looked at my slippers, the sole had gotten worse and I didn’t notice. At least, I didn’t fall on the stairs while going to my room.
The pain would have been much worse. I removed the slippers and stood up. I had been so caught up in making sure that the chance to live my life the way I wanted was perfect that I didn’t notice that a lot of other things needed my attention.
Mom was usually asking me questions about this thing but she had become a little distant. I guess telling me what to do was what really brought us close to one another.
“Min,” I said immediately he picked up the call.
“Excepting someone else?” he asked me. What did he mean expecting someone? He owned the number didn’t he?
“No,” I answered.
