Liam’s POV

As the battle started, I noticed how uncomfortable Lizzy was. I felt hopeless, unable to do anything to stop her.

I looked at her, trying to convey that she should give up, but she was too stubborn to listen to me.

At this point, I watched as Cara attacked Lizzy at full speed, as if she had planned it all on her own.

In response to every attack Cara threw at Lizzy, all she did was move as far away from her as possible.

I had noticed Lizzy more than anyone, and one thing I knew was that she wasn’t a fighter.

I tried standing up, but my father stopped me and asked me not to interfere. Lizzy was trying everything she could to save herself from Cara, but it seemed Cara was intent on hurting her.

How could Lizzy think she could beat Cara without a weapon? She should have known this wasn’t a game and that her life was at risk.
