Liam’s POV

“What have I done?” I sat by the bedside, feeling regret about what had happened earlier. Did I just have sex with her? My mind kept wondering if it was real or a dream.

I stood up, not knowing where Lizzy had gone. Did she see me with her? I just couldn’t relax as I felt so foolish.

I heard the sound of the front door opening, and I rushed downstairs only to see Lizzy pull off her jacket with tears in her eyes.

“What happened, love? Why are you crying?” I looked at her as I took her into the room and sat down on the bed. She looked up at me as if she was feeling regret about something.

I turned her towards me as I stared at her. Did I do something wrong that caused her to cry? I placed a hand on her forehead as I looked at her.

“Tell me, love, what happened?” she looked up at me as if she was scared of telling me. Then I held her hand and kissed it, assuring her that everything was going to be OK.
