Lizzy’s POV

Now it was time for me to prove to the king that I could be the bride of his son. However, the only problem was that I didn’t know how to fight.

I walked into the dressing room and saw many warrior clothes waiting to be tested before battle. I was so scared to even choose what I would wear as I stood there looking.

As soon as the door opened, I turned around to see Cara smiling at me.

“I see you’re ready for the big fight. You know it’s better to give up now that you have the chance.”

I knew she was trying to make me scared, but I had to do this. After being together for so many years with Liam, for the first time, I got to feel what love is all about.

My eyes moved to each one of the clothes as I turned back to look at them.

“I see you’re trying to be quiet, but I like people like you,” she said as she clapped her hands, and I felt the door open once more, with three ladies walking in with items in their hands.
