I got back into my car and dialed Giovanni’s number. “Giovanni, I need you to be on standby,” I said, my voice firm. “Ria’s been kidnapped, and I’m going to get her back.”

“I’m on it, boss,” Giovanni replied, his voice calm and professional. “I’ll gather the team and meet you at the warehouse.”

I hung up the phone and put the car in gear, speeding towards the warehouse. I was going to get Ria back, no matter what it took. I was going to make sure that whoever was behind this paid for what they had done.

As I drove, my mind was racing with thoughts of Ria. I had to get to her before it was too late. I had to make sure she was safe. I couldn’t bear the thought of anything happening to her.
