Mikhail’s expression was blank. He had no idea why Jeneva was here, but she probably had some new information she wanted to share with him and the other Council members.

Still, he couldn’t help but be a little suspicious.

He had been wondering about this for a while.

Why was it necessary to inform the other two Elites about the mate bond? He wasn’t exactly close to them, and he wasn’t sure how they could contribute to the discussion.

But of course, if it was about the RV-13400 case, he was certain that they could contribute significant things to the ongoing investigation.

However, in the case of a personal matter as this, he failed to see the reason why Jeneva would be interested.

“As to why Lady Jeneva is here,” Audrey began, as if she had read his mind. “There is something she wishes to tell you. However, it can wait until after you explain to us about this bond you have with Cassandra.”
