Fitz and I were discussing the phone mystery when I heard a scream from outside and rushed out of my study with Fitz on my tail. A small army of soldiers followed suit, and the noise was coming from the direction of the orchard.

Mars was already on the case, a small crowd of soldiers surrounding someone. They parted immediately when I arrived, and it was Saylor holding Naomi in his lap. He was explaining something to Mars, who ended the conversation as soon as he noticed my arrival.
