Chapter 23. Nathaniel's Plan
As he carried out the plan of putting Mike behind bars once and for all. He found a sense of contentment and fulfillment. He was worried about Maria yes he liked her but not in a romantic way. He valued her not because of her work but because he saw her not only as an employee but as a person as well. He guessed that was his weak spot that he was to trusting in a sense that anytime there could be an impostor or a spy lurking around. Most of all he also felt guilty because he had no time for Allison and his pending surprise proposal for her. He always thought it was an engagement already confident that she would say yes to sharing her life with him. Should he be that confident though he wondered. He was drowning in that line of thinking when suddenly he was jolted out of his reverie and forced himself to focus at the task on hand.
