There was no hesitation from the water wolves, almost like they’d been waiting for his orders. They broke formation, pulling the injured along with them. Their magic changed from attack to defence as they backed away from the rogue.

The Earth wolves were forced to also put up more defences, being pushed back by the rogue.

Eleanor followed the retreating Pack in her wolf form, stopping for a second to look back. As she stared hard, she noticed someone standing at the other end of the clearing, speaking to someone sitting on a rock.

The person looked familiar, and she snarled in that direction, her paws ready to take off running in that direction to confirm her suspicion.

But Killian kept yelling retreating orders at them all, using his Alpha power to force them to obey his order and leaving her no choice.
