Chapter 11. Three Days Alone
Rose’s POV
It had been three days, three days since I last saw Nathaniel. My life had become robotic. Every day, I woke up and went to open the door. The guard would ask me if I needed anything, and the same woman would come to my room with whatever I wanted.
The first day had been somewhat bearable. Since I could get whatever I wanted, I made sure I was well-fed. I asked for whatever it was I felt like eating. A lot of the things I had craved for back home but was too broke to pay for, I had asked for it, and it was served within the twinkle of an eye.
I had also gotten my clothes washed and dried and brought back to me. I felt since I was given things so freely, I could take the sweet-smelling lotion in the bathroom for myself, so I stuffed that in my bag, too.
Day two hadn’t been so fun. I realized I had no one to talk to. I even tried making small talk with the lady who was attending to me, but she wasn’t responding well. She only smiled
