Nathaniel’s POV

I didn’t know why I couldn’t stop thinking about the girl. What about her made me so drawn to her?

After the night we shared, I left the house, convincing myself that I just wanted to give her some time, especially after she had broken down telling me about her and Ana’s relationship. The first day went by successfully, then the second and the third.

I couldn’t lie to myself. If the girl had decided to remain in the penthouse for a couple of months, I wouldn’t have gone back there during that period. I would have let her stay, making sure everything she needed was provided for her.

There was something about her that appealed to me, and seeing how hurt she was about her sister’s absence didn’t do anything to make things better. What I saw was a young, innocent girl who just wanted to be with her sister.
