Chapter 90. Hiding Rose

Anastasia’s POV

The sound of my call ringtone woke me up. I hadn’t realized I had slept off. Rose was sleeping peacefully beside me, and luckily, my buzzing phone hadn’t woken her up.

I grabbed the phone from my purse and saw that it was William calling. I picked up the phone.

“Where are you?!” William barked from the other end, his voice sharp and furious.

“Why? Is anything wrong?” I asked cautiously, sitting up.

“I said where the fuck are you?! Answer me now!” he shouted, his tone escalating.

“Why are you yelling, William?” I said, alarmed at the tone with which he was speaking to me. “Can’t I go out again? I’m with some friends…”

“You’re a liar. I know you’re with Rose. Come back home right now and bring her with you,” he snapped. “If you bring her, I’m going to spare your life. If you don’t bring her, I’m going to find and kill both of you!”
