“Thank you. The doctor said it’s a girl, but we know how children may not identify with the genders imposed on them as they grow up, so we chose a gender-neutral name, it’s easier. Mine, for example, has always been Harin. But if Ariel doesn’t identify with the gender or even with the name we’ve chosen, I want her to understand that there’s no problem in redefining them so that she feels comfortable.
