“Have you heard? Is Taesu there with you?”

“Taesu? Jaewon, I just saw him on TV!”

“What? On TV?”

I looked at Skyla and saw her pick up her phone. Quickly, as soon as she entered one of her social networks, the news about Sin Harin being missing appeared on the feed.

“I can’t believe this,” I said, turning my attention back to my mother. “Someone from the station must have leaked it; it’s not possible!”

The officers in the front seats glanced at each other.

“Jaewon, where’s Harin? What’s going on, son?”

“I still don’t know, Mom. We’re tracking Hawoo’s watch; the location led to Mapo Bridge. I’ll let you know when there’s any news, okay?”

“Please, son. I’ll close the store and call Taesu. Let’s wait for news, okay?”

“Alright, Mom.”

“May God protect you. I’ll pray until you call.”
