Lynn’s POV

“Yeah, I’m really sorry about that. It won’t happen again.”

Noah waved it off like it was nothing before he stepped further in and leaned against my desk, staring down at me.

“Don’t worry about it, Lynn. I’m just glad that you’re here now.” His eyes slid over me, but when he noticed that I was watching him intently, he cleared his throat and stood up again. “You didn’t miss much at the meeting. We were just going over the week’s plan of attack. Luis can fill you in when he gets back. Speaking of… Where did he go?”

I shrugged because I honestly had no idea.

And then Luis was back, huffing and puffing in the doorway as I took in his appearance. He had a heaping arm full of clothes and a bright purple feather boa wrapped around his neck. What made it even better was the shimmering tiara propped on the top of his head. He looked like a hot mess. I stifled a laugh as Noah took in Luis’s presence.
