I rushed toward the door, mind still racing about the photo incident when I collided straight into Alexander’s solid chest. His hands gripped my arms, steadying me before I could stumble.
“Why are you running around like a headless chicken?” His voice held that dangerous edge from earlier, blue eyes still stormy with residual anger.
I straightened my blouse. “You said the car’s leaving in five minutes.”
“Yes.” His jaw remained tight as he released me, turning toward the elevator without another word.
