Chapter 56. The Judgment

His expression which was earlier filled with remorse morphed into an indifferent one. He struggled to get himself out of the guard's hold and I raised my hand, ordering him to let him go.
He couldn't do more than trying to evade the guards which was very much impossible because of their speed and strength. He wouldn't even be able to go past the door.
"You should be happy now that you have fixed the puzzle, Rolan. What makes you think that you are capable of being our Alpha?" Spite rang hard in his voice as he poured out his heart that was filled with hatred and disgust for me.
"Answering your question is as useless as a used paper, for it can't be written on, only discarded. If you need answers, then you should take a survey amongst my people and ask them if I'm not capable of being their Alpha." I replied shrewdly, taking him aback as he scoffed.
