Chapter 74. The Curse at Work

A long stroll in the garden was what I needed as the pole of books on my study table seemed too much of a task for me. Several things had to be done which included going on a supervision at the field, then working on creating a new water supply for the pack.
But I couldn't set my mind to do anything as my heart felt heavy. I pushed my chair backward and tossed on a robe then headed for the garden.
The sun shone harshly, causing a great amount of heat. At a point I had to take off my robe and remain in my shirt which was already getting soaked with sweat.
As I passed through a part of the garden that had colorful flowers in their tender stages, consisting of—white jasmines, purple frangipanis and even sunflowers, a memory from the night I strolled with Hermione hit me.
Her face lit up with a bright smile as she stared at the flowers and the smile didn't end with her, it got to me too. That was when I realized that I felt something for her
