Chapter 29. Gone Rogue

Darko went straight to the Kuznetsova to deliver the five cases of forty-year-old whiskey from abroad that Yegor promised Nestor, as per their conversation a couple of days ago.

 

The underboss didn't meet the old man upon arrival since he had called him earlier telling him that he was still at another meeting and that his men would take the cases from him. Darko didn't ask any question and let his men handle the bottles, while he texted Zasha, asking her whereabouts.

He knows he should not even get in touch with her, but he was breaking his own rules when it comes to the beautiful mob heiress. He texted her and told her that he was at her house. He smiled and move further away from the men that were still unloading the cases from his car.

"Come up to my room, I've missed you!" she whined adorably making him smile from the other line.

"I imagined you missed any kind of male companion, I heard you haven't left the mansion since your last outing."
