Chapter 19. Irritating Sadness

"Florence, don't lie to me baby...you know that I'm a psychiatrist right?" he hugged me closer in his arms.

"Yeah...today was boring actually, but maybe I'm not used to it just yet. Gabby and Ralph were very nice to me though, maybe I just needed some time to adjust." I sighed and leaned my back closer to him.

"Well, in the meantime why don't you find out what you want to do besides working in the clinic? You can try and browse it online, and maybe find a new hobby. try something that you always wanted to do, but never had the chance to?"

"Well...I've always wanted to go to a real school, I have been home school all my life, but I'll be too old and I wouldn't know what to study." I shrugged and took comfort back to him.

"As for hobbies, I don't think I have any. Not that I had the time and the luxury to explore my options." I sighed and suddenly I felt very sad, my body was tense. I've never felt so useless in my entire life.
