Chapter 233
Felicity's POV
I sat there in disarray, I had to think of an idea to halt Isklander before he would execute his distorted plan. But then gazing in his eyes, I looked upon a thrill, a feeling of expectation rushing blood through my veins.
“You can never succeed,” I shouted again, and tried hard to control my voice. Isklander simply laughed it off.
“Oh I think otherwise,” he replied.
“In no time will I be the only person alive.” This meant action was essential. A way out had to be discovered in order to reach Joseph from Isklander’s hands before anything happened.
But looking around the room revealed walls that were closing on me leaving no escape route within sight. It appeared as though he could sense my despair because he moved closer while taking on a vicious tone with his voice.
“This place will never see you leave,” he whispered. “Joseph is going to fade away.” A surge of anxiety hit me but giving up was not
