Chapter 286

Bianca's POV 

I look around, searching for Sarah, but she is nowhere in sight.

The officers cuff me, reading me my rights as they drag me away.

I am still in shock. I still do not understand what is happening.

This cannot be real. This cannot happen to me.

But when I got pulled outside the motel room, I could see the police cars waiting with flashing lights.

It is real. I'm going down.

Across the parking lot, I see Sarah's face. It's smug, triumphant.

My eyes grow wide with shock as it suddenly dawns on me that she is the one who betrayed me.

Reeling in shock, I can hardly believe what is happening. I thought I was just wanted for kidnapping and assault, but now they're telling me I'm being charged with murder.

"Murder?" I repeat, shaking my voice. "I didn't kill anybody!"

They ignore me as they lead me deep into the station to a cold, sterile cell. They toss me inside and slam the door shut behind me.
