Chapter 295

Felicity's pov 

I lay in the sand drinking mile-long sips of coconut water and watched Joseph cavort in the waves with Austin. It seemed like it had been forever since the duke out with Don Vince, Sarah, and now I had my life together again slowly. 

It's funny how life works. I finally obtained a sense of peace and happiness, and it felt wonderful.

Joseph lifted Austin and twirled him around while I watched, laughing as my baby boy squealed in delight. It was a scene that made one smile, a heart full of love for these two.

The sun beamed at me; waves were sword fighting as they smashed together. I was encircled by all that's good. What more could I have asked?

With every sip of the coconut water, I could feel its coolness sliding down my throat. I could not be more thankful for that small piece of heaven or for this opportunity to rebuild my life and really have a shot at happiness.
