Felicity's pov

As I clicked, in the background Joseph raised Austin above his head and started spinning him in circles, he was laughing his little head off. I clicked off another, then another, each one catching a fresh dimension of our happiness.

We'd snap pictures of us holding and laughing with Austin. Of Austin digging in the sand with Joseph lifting him high into the air for the picture. Of our happy family right in the middle of the beautiful outdoors.

Once we were finished, Joseph put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me in close.

"I am so grateful for this," he began, voice low, full of so much meaning. "For us, for Austin, for this life we're building together."

I had to lean against him, then, had to fight the hot tears that seemed to fill up in my heart. "Me, too," I said. "Me, too."

The evening was our work dinner party

As we rode to the work dinner together, Joseph couldn't stop going on about me. "I am so proud of you, Fel
