Chapter 44

Although I know I deserve it and I had to face all the consequences of my actions in the past.

"I'll be giving you the papers to go through them tomorrow and do well to buy down a good plan, not one that made your father's company go bankrupt." He said.

"I know what to do. And I wasn't the reason why my father's company got closed down." I said to defend myself.

"Suit yourself." He said and stood up from the chair walking towards the door of my room.

I smiled because this was the first time that Joseph was actually asking for my help. I finally arranged my bed and got to sleep. 

The sun coming from the window shone into my eyes and that was what actually woke me up. It was Saturday and it was just clocked at 7:30. I stood up and headed to the bathroom for my morning bath.

It was hot so I decided to take a hot bath. As I was washing myself, I heard someone's footsteps coming towards the bathroom and I quickly grabbed my towel to cover my nakedness.
