Last night, before they went to sleep, or was it already morning? Collin couldn’t recall the details, but Aubrey insisted on bringing him to her breakfast meeting with an investor. It was all of a sudden, and he couldn’t say no to her.
“Are you sure they wouldn’t mind?” Collin asked because he believed it would be embarrassing.
“I’m sure, and actually, they shouldn’t mind it. You will be my husband, so it’s only right that I should give you a position in the company. I hope this topic will not cause some misunderstandings,” she clarified.
“Of course, baby,” he assured Aubrey. “Why don’t we invite them to have breakfast here? That way, they would become more comfortable around you. It’s less formal, but it would make them trust you,” he suggested. “I know you are great in your job, you are capable in your position, but you know how men react, my dear.
