The car came to a complete stop in front of the Hyshoo restaurant, where they would be dining.

“Arguing won’t help us get the impression that we are going for,” Xavier said, taking a deep breath.

Jessica’s phone had been going off the hook, ringing nonstop, and she had refused to answer it, even with Xavier urging her to pick up to prove her innocence. He just wanted to know if she truly was not cheating on him.
