Chapter 57
As soon as Adam opened the door, Adriel threw himself on the elder, hugging him tightly, letting his scared tears fall freely from his eyes. He might be strong enough to handle any kind of pressure but he wasn’t left alone in his whole life as he was raised like a little prince of his family. Not to mention, how his father sent him here as Adam’s secretary as soon as he requested.
Adam stumbled back before getting hold of the younger, patting him gently. It was too late to apologize for what he did but he could comfort him, at least he could do.
After a few minutes, Adriel broke the hug and awkwardly stood a little away from the elder and was scared of getting scolded. He tilted his head to see the elder. His hair was dampened by sweat and disheveled.
“I’m sorry for not letting you know before I go out. I just didn’t feel sleepy suddenly and didn’t have a thought of waking you up in the middle of the night.” He shouldn’t have to explain all this to him nonetheless
