Chapter 60

As the weekend rolled in, Adam and Grace got ready for their date. Grace was excited and nervous, and couldn’t quite put her feelings into words.

Despite the uncertainty, she slipped into the dress Adam had picked out for her, she liked it, as it was just like her style not portraying Faith in anything. She checked out herself in the mirror. Was she worth this dress? Even though she was born into a rich family, she couldn’t help but inferiority complex eating her alive.

Shaking off the unwanted thoughts a couple of minutes later, she combed her hair neatly according to the dress code.

Grace emerged from her room, fully prepared, only to find Adam waiting for her in the hall. While she’d seen him in casual attire before, today he emitted an extra dose of handsomeness.

Caught off guard, Grace couldn’t help but gaze at him with her doe eyes which went unnoticed by Adam, struck by the sheer allure of the man standing before her.
