“I’m sorry…” It was like a whisper yet Adam could hear when the audio died down in the theatre.

He turned to see the younger, whose eyes were fluttering in the palpitation. “Hey, hey… It’s okay. You don’t have to apologize. It’s good that you talked.” Adam smiled assuring.

She shouldn’t like this. Her heart was fluttering the moment she saw Adam. And it’s wrong. She had to stay away from him. That’s what her mind bugging her to do.

“I-I ruined everything,” Grace again stuttered.

“No, you didn’t. You let me hold your hands. And comforted me. And here we are watching a movie together. It’s been a while since I felt calm and you are the reason. So don’t think too much.” Adam’s words passed down to her heart as she couldn’t control its beats anymore.

“So can we watch the movie?” Adam smiled as Grace nodded and their eyes turned to the screen yet their thoughts were roaming around with each other continuously.
