Chapter 64
He didn’t like smoking but after Faith died, to kill his depression he started to smoke but two months before his marriage he quit it. Now things were going out of his control and triggering him to start which he quit.
Adam sighed and put the cigar back in the box, tossed it inside the car. He stood there for a while before leaving from there.
Adam with weariness etched on his face stepped inside the house, his steps heavy with his unsettled heart. Grace arrived at the hall and found him drained. Without a word, he handed over his bag which confused the younger. Grace watched as he retreated to freshen up, leaving her puzzled.
As he disappeared behind the bathroom door, Grace couldn’t fathom the shadows that clung to him. The pile of questions lingered in her mind but she shrugged it off.
