In Adam’s office, Adriel spoke up, “Boss, that was intense. Are you okay?”

Adam sighed, “It’s a mess, Adriel. I wanted to shout back at them, but I can’t afford to endanger my position.”

Adriel nodded concern plastered on his face. “Are you okay? You seemed to be off since the morning. You are so restless. I never saw you like this.”

“I am just exhausted,” Adam replied, rubbing his temples.

Adriel offered, “You know you can turn in to me. Is it related to the thing you asked before the meeting?”

“Yeah, kind of,” Adam said.

Adriel looked up and said, “You are shouldering many things, Brother. Have some rest and give some rest to your brain. You aren’t a machine to work 24/7.”

Adam nodded a little, “I will try.” That was all he could say.
