Grace took a deep breath, opening up to Adam about the nightmare that happened in college. “There’s the guy. His name is Carter Glynn, the minister’s son. He harassed me both verbally and physically. It’s like he thought he could get away with anything because of who his dad is.”

Adam’s eyes widened. He didn’t think it would be the minister’s son. “Did you complain about him to the management? Did they take action?” What a silly question though he knew the answer. But he wanted it to be positive like a movie where the heroine was rescued by someone in the end. Little did she know it was not some kind of movie or novel.

“Nothing.” Grace’s eyes filled with rage, pain and much more. She again sneered in pain, “Absolutely nothing. The management just turned a blind eye because he’s the minister’s son. It’s like they forgot their responsibility to protect students.”

Adam frowned. What would they do? Nothing because his father had the power to do anything. “Did you tell
