Adam’s heart pounded as he approached Harold’s office, knocking lightly before barging in. “Harold, we need to talk about Faith and Carter,” he blurted out, catching Harold off guard. It was an unplanned meeting between them. Moreover, mentioning Carter shocked Harold.

“There is nothing to talk about. You may leave since you have no appointment with me. I have patients to treat now.” His indifferent words confirmed that he knew something. Harold didn’t ask why or what. He just ordered Adam to leave, gesturing to his assistant to take Adam away. Then, it might be more of it than he was showing right.

“Sir, please… Leave from here…” the assistant tried to block the younger but he was firm, not wanting to leave until he got to know about the case they were involved in.

“Why didn’t you ask anything about Faith or that guy named Carter but you ordered me to leave? You knew something right… You are the one who filed against him. Don’t you want to confess something?” Adam
