Sienna’s POV
The warm glow of the gallery show, that deep sense of having finally found my voice, still hummed inside me. But as soon as the last painting was sold and the crowds had gone home, my mind turned immediately to the true masterpieces in my life: Zoe and Leo.
My art might be thriving, finding new exciting paths, but the real, deepest healing, I knew, was happening right here at home, within our small, precious family.
That tiny nod from Zoe at the exhibition, the brief, proud look from Leo, they were not the end of the journey but just the gentle, hopeful beginning.
I understood this would be a slow, careful process, much like painting a complex portrait, one delicate, patient layer at a time.
I decided to start with simple, everyday things. I made sure I was always home before they got back from their classes.
