Chapter 61. Fighting to Death

It was a brutal fight for Rufus to team up with Becky to fight the creature chosen by General Ail. When the creature had his grip on Becky, he raised his lightsaber, wanting to slit Becky’s throat. Rufus jumped on him from behind and poked the creature’s eyes.

This made him angrier. He shook Rufus off his back, letting go of Becky, and switched his attention to Rufus.

Seeing that Becky had been released, Rufus yelled, “Run, Becky! Run!”

Becky couldn’t let the man who just saved her life dead at the hands of the creature. She needed to do something. Becky’s eyes were drawn to the lightsaber belonging to the creature. He must have dropped it when Rufus poked his eyes.

She hurried, crawling toward the glowing blade, and picked it up.

The crowd yelled, trying to draw the creature’s attention back to Becky, but he was too busing wanting to catch up with Rufus.

As the creature started walking toward Rufus, Rufus crawled on his butt, wanting to escape.
