Chapter 62. Out of Breath

General Ail pressed his lethal weapon against Rufus’ head before another word could escape his lips. “Your bitch killed my trooper!” he gnawed. There’s a trace of evil in his eyes, and he’s hungry for human blood.

“She needs help; please help her,” Rufus pleaded.

The General did not pity him or Becky. He thrust his hand on Rufus and dragged him away from Becky. He started hitting him with the lethal weapon and kicking him. “You dare ask me for help!”

He isn’t a fan of any human. The sight of humans disgusts him. After giving Rufus a thorough beating, he gestured at Enzo to pick Rufus up and lock him up.

“What about here?” Enzo points at Becky.

“She won’t survive,” he said. “Leave her here. She’s already dead.”

Enzo grabbed Rufus and started dragging him away just like his father had ordered. On getting closer to the heavy steel door, two troopers rushed out to meet with him. They took Rufus from him and dragged him away to lock him up.
