Chapter 281

"Put in jail?" Marian exclaims with her large eyes enhanced by surprise widening, a voluntary action which happens whenever an event that causes shock happens.

"Yes," Georgina replies with another level of confidence. "Christian doesn't want all this distraction, already we are battling Ashina and Maxwell, to send them to their final resting place, we just need some proof and evidence."

Catherine and Marian open their mouths wide open upon hearing the final resting places. They try to figure out if it's the one they know or Georgina means the prison but whatever Ashina and Farkas aren't good people so no one would bother if something bad happened to them.

"Adrian really did bad, I wonder why some people would create issues for themselves, I would say he deserves to go to jail," Catherine says. Marian shoots her a long, deep stare of disapproval.

"I don't think you know what you are saying," She snaps with a tone filled with sarcasm.
