I woke up the next day in high spirits. After the ruse with Alpha Krishan, I decided that it was best to stay guarded throughout my stay here.

He seemed like he wasn’t going to give up anytime soon. Funny enough, he had been after Roxanne for a long time now, and now that she was within his reach, he couldn’t even make any moves because he was overwhelmed with bringing me down so he could win the contest once again. And even if he did make any moves, it was going to be a lost cause because I was here to protect her.
