Chapter 10. He Was Back

Thelma told me that the Alpha won't be here until next week.

That, somehow, gave me relief.

I had a beautiful room all by myself. I didn't have to deal with anything yet, and the most exciting part of all was that they were going to take my measurements for the dresses they'd make for me. I couldn't imagine myself wearing the same kind as the royal ladies do, and just thinking of it makes me giggle in excitement.

It was embarrassing to admit it, but I had been dreaming of this kind of life since I was a little girl. Beautiful dresses, castles, amazing delicacies, a wide garden full of every variety of flowers growing in this land... I think this was the best part of being a Luna. The good things I was going to experience here distracted me from the sad fact that I was going to marry a man I didn't even know. Or love.
