Chapter 95. Lovers in a Tent
The road towards the City of Xeantra was not easy to travel.
When Edison and I got off the wide grassland just behind the rim of the mountains, where we encountered the three werewolves who attacked us, we strode straight ahead down the rough and dry land.
Five more hours and we entered a rocky ravine that was famously called the ravine of death because the bandits from older times used to throw the bodies of their victims in this place.
The area was almost covered with a thick fog as the clouds descended on this place to make it look more eerie and cold. The shadows of the mountains made the gorge so dark that you would think it was nighttime, even though it was almost in the middle of the day.
Edison decided for us to move slowly here, to not agitate any hostile creatures living in this place, and to stay as calm as we could so that the horses wouldn’t feel the fear that I was feeling as I saw the bones and skulls that piled on every corner of the rocky wal
