Claire let out a big sigh. "I'm fine, Hunter. Nothing happened to me," she said, leaning on her elbows. "You don't have to treat me like a Barbie doll that could break or be destroyed at any time. If we're going to be friends and I'm going to be Luna, you have to see me and treat me the same." Claire state. Trying to figure out why.

Hunter's eyes got narrow and he looked at her for a second. "I see you as a person on the same level as me, but it's hard for me to treat you like one. My wolf makes me always want to protect you. He doesn't care what you say or how strong you are; the only thing that matters to him is that you are safe.

Hunter turned his head away from her and sighed. "You don't know much about my wolf or me, but maybe you will in time." He almost looked like he was ashamed of the evil side of himself.
