Chapter 60. The Date. Part 1

“A date!”

He frowns, “ Yes a date. Why are you surprised?”

I roll my eyes and his eyes narrow with a warning, “ It's just you have never asked me on a date before.”

“ That's why I am asking now. So will you go?”

I glance at his chest, his heart beats wildly as he waits for my answer.  He has me cocking my head and staring into his captivating eyes. Why would he be nervous when they are already marked and mated?

“ Of course I will go.”

He heaves out, a sigh of relief.

An amused smile dances on my lips, “ did you think I would refuse?”

“ Of course, because I am doing this after we are together.  Instead of doing it before.”

“ Who says there is an order to this?”

“ The universe I guess.” is his cocky reply.

I chuckle until my breath hitches when I feel his lips capturing me mine. He pulls away quickly.

“ I needed to steal one at least.” His ears hit up again and I giggle at his reaction.
