Chapter 66. Narah

Kieran’s POV

Raven has been mumbling incoherently since I put her in the car. She has been whispering about the oracle and finding the truth. She has also been repeating a name over and over again, “Narah.”

I pull up to the hospital and don’t bother finding a parking spot. I left my warriors behind at the scene so they could collect as much evidence as they could find. Hopefully, they will be able to trail Mae’s scent.

There is a team of nurses and doctors waiting for me at the entrance to the hospital. They have a wheelchair ready and waiting for Raven. Everyone has a serious look on their face. We know what is at stake if something happens to the Luna Queen. It could be the downfall of our society as we know it. The recusants could take over, and there is no telling what would happen.

Opening my car door, I carefully help Raven out. She is still bleeding from the wound, and I worry that I wasn’t able to get all of the bullet out. I had put the bullet
