I froze, staring at the gun for a few seconds before processing the fact that he called my real name.

I didn’t even know what he was doing in there speaking to both his beta, Vladimir, and Viktor. 

All three men were inside the office, and if they knew who I was, then I was more than just a little doomed.

My heart raced against my ribcage before I forced myself to sit and look at him.

My legs and hands which were aching from the glass that tore through my skin seemed like nothing as I felt like my heart was being pulled out of my chest.
