“Is everything okay?” I asked Killian who smiled at me as he put his phone in his pocket.

He sat on the floor beside me before wrapping an arm around me and pulling me to his chest.

“Yes, I just had a little something to deal with, but I am done and now I am free for my little mate.” He said, making me blush. He kissed my temple, and I couldn’t help but find myself melting in his embrace for a second before curling up in his arms.
