“What does that woman want anyway?” I asked Killian who was laying on my bed.

I lay on his chest as he wrapped one arm around me, holding me closer to him. 

“I still don’t know, we are going to find out though. But I don’t want you to think about it.” He said, and I raised myself to look at him.

“You know that I can’t help it, and that is why, I will.” I said, and he smiled before cupping my cheeks. He pulled me in for a kiss, and I couldn’t help but purr as he did. He pulled away and purred back, making my cheeks redden as he pulled me in for a hug. 

I lay my head on the crook of his neck, inhaling his scent, growing more attached to him by the second as I did. 

“You know, I never did take you for a jealous mate, but I have to admit, I can’t help but find myself liking it.” He said, making my eyes widen before I pulled away to look him in the eye. “It shows me that you really do feel something for me.”

“You know for f
