“Anything from her?” I asked, entering the basement.

Eleanor has finally managed to get some shuteye, and though I didn’t want to leave her, I knew that I had to check on whatever they might have found out from Daria.

“A few curse words here and there, but it stayed there. The woman is tough as hell,” Inna said, and I nodded before taking a deep breath. I didn’t want to be the one to harm her.
