Chapter 27. Saving My Greatest Enemy
Talitha’s POV
Something intense, passive, and extremely offensive with heat was burning up the roof.
“No mother!” I screamed and jolted with sweat dripping from my back and spilling all over my skin. I looked around to see myself lying on a bed with a comforter draped over my sleeping form as my gaze scanned around the room.
“Ouch…” my head bangs offensively as I placed my hands at the sides of my head rubbing at the hurting spot but it was of no value as it banged harder.
“You are awake so fast.” I turned around to see the healer smiling at me as she stood in the doorway. Why didn’t I look in that direction? I would have caught her watchful eyes. She must have seen me screaming in my sleep with the idea I have nightmares.
Embarrassing.
